Program Support Worker – temporary student position
Program Support Worker Needed
We are currently seeking a Program Support Worker. The successful candidate will assist with development and implementation of a community awareness campaign. Plan and execute activities at rural festivals and events to promote services. Will develop and distribute information packages to other community services and partner. Will assist with clerical work, resource library, research, develop a follow-up process/schedule to ensure community awareness is on-going. Prepare weekly or monthly articles for publication. There is an expectation that the candidate will represent Naomi’s Family Resource Centre’s vision, mission and philosophy while on duty and to assist in promoting public awareness of Violence Against Women issues in the community. She must regularly attend and participate in staff meetings.
The pay rate for this position is $11.25 per hour for thirty (35) hours a week for eight (8) weeks

- Must be returning to post-secondary school in Fall 2016
- Above average computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, e-mail etc.)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work independently
- Effective communicator, leader with sound judgment and decision- making abilities.
- Take safety issues seriously and endeavour to always protect those around you as well as yourself.
